  About Matt

Matt opened Coach House Fitness in 2021 offering private 1-to-1 coaching, specialising in HIIT, circuit training, nutrition, weight management and soft tissue dysfunction (Sports Massage).


With over 20 years’ experience in the security and fitness industry, Matt is a Chartered Security Professional, Level 3 Personal Trainer, Level 3 Sports Massage therapist, English Ski Council qualified club instructor and Men’s Physique athlete, having secured podium finishes in multiple UK & European bodybuilding competitions.


Matt has a wide depth of knowledge in the industry with a Bachelor’s degree in science with honours and a Masters degree with distinction from Portsmouth University. After training with the prestigious English Ski council and securing the British Alpine 3 Star award in 2001, Matt then went on to coach at “Club Instructor” level before relocating to the Middle East, moving into the high security industry working throughout the GCC, Asia and South Africa. 


In 2020, Matt was accredited by the Security Institute as a Chartered Security Professional, the gold standard in the profession, awarded to professionals with both experience and theoretical application across the industry. Matt excels in bridging the gap between theory & practical application of  biomechanics, strength and nutrition.

  About Emma

Emma has a wide depth of knowledge in the sports and fitness industry with Bachelor’s degree from Bournemouth University. 

Emma has competed in the prestigious international 2BrosPro Bikini Fitness competition, finishing in 2nd place!  Emma is an avid promoter of high intensity training, with a focus on a low carbohydrate-high fat diet to achieve maximum results. 

She is a keen cricketer and is the captain of Broadstone woman's cricket team. 

 

Emma joined the team at CHF in 2022 after her first successful bodybuilding competition as a gym instructor, and brings with her a wealth of practical experience.

  About Dr. Ness

Dr. Vanessa Bartholomew, PhD, is a Physical Training (PT) instructor and registered midwife enthusiastic and committed to helping individuals of all ages and abilities improve their strength, confidence, and overall fitness. Vanessa's classes focus on functional movement, endurance, and well-being, supporting people at various life stages—from pregnancy and postnatal recovery to maintaining strength and mobility for life, or beginning a running journey.


With a particular interest in strength training, mobility and functional fitness for long term wellness, and making exercise accessible and enjoyable, Vanessa offers a range of group or 1:2:1 sessions. Group sessions include Open PT classes, Fit for Life (55+), Strong for Two (antenatal), Strong Foundations (postnatal), and Couch to 5K jogging sessions. 1:2:1 sessions are tailored to meet your particular needs. Vanessa's approach creates a friendly, supportive environment where participants can move well, build strength, and develop a long-term appreciation for staying active.

 About Linda

Linda is an experienced in sports massage, Myofascial release, aromatherapy and deep tissue treatments.

 

Linda is a keen lyengar yoga practitioner and has been practising yoga for over 20 years. This has given her a keen interest in keeping the body and mind in the best condition possible.

About Tina

Tina brings incredible energy, expertise, and passion to CHF, specialising in Boxing, Kickboxing, and as an accredited English Boxercise Trainer.

Tina’s sessions combine strength training with dynamic boxing techniques, creating a comprehensive and enjoyable workout program. Plus, her playlists are top-notch – and yes, song requests are totally welcome!


With a strong focus on making fitness fun and sustainable, Tina understands that journeys aren't always linear. She’s here to support and motivate, celebrating your victories and helping overcome challenges along the way.


But that’s not all! Tina is also a local mental health nurse and is working toward a nutrition qualification to provide even more guidance for your diet and training needs.


As a busy Lytchett Mum who has balanced life’s demands while achieving her own fitness transformation (losing an amazing seven stone!), Tina knows first-hand the challenges and triumphs of regaining confidence and well-being. Her journey with CHF has fuelled her passion, and she’s ready to inspire yours.
